Discount Tire was my go to tire/wheel store for many years. Sadly just had a negative experience regarding a repair of one of thier tires. The tire is on my summer car and developed a leak. I was getting ready to store the car until spring and did not want the problem of having a totally flat tire as the car would be stored in a very narrow area with insufficient room to change a tire in the spring. I made an appt. at DT and explained that I just wanted the leak fixed so I could store the car safely for the season. The DT rep took the tire off and said that it had uneven wear and they could not repair it, but they could order a new tire and have it in a few days and it would be $300 something dollars. Hmmmm? I felt like I was getting hustled so I left and went to another shop and it was repaired it without issue. Maybe DT is too busy to care about customer retention? Image of tire below, while not perfect, IMO it is certainly not beyond repair.
TL;DR Discount Tire did not honor repair warranty and tried to sell new tire to long time customer
The folks at this location are the best! On my last visit, before I even got inside Justin recognized my car and knew exactly why I was there. Really quick service and great extra support like wheel balancing and air pressure checks. Can't recommend enough!
Fantastic customer service from Shane there! We went there to fix a broken valve stem and they got us in right away, got it fixed in less than 10 minutes. On top of that they did it for free! You don’t get this kind of customer service anymore and I was pleasantly surprised!
Justin and crew are the best! I felt like I was in the pits at a NASCAR race. The crew was extremely knowledgable and FAST! Everything from scheduling appt, to breakdown of services is top notch. Not one negative. Can't wait to go back. All of my tire/wheel business will be done here. Bonus points that crew knew how to work on Tesla.
What a delight to be able to write a positive review in today's times.i called at 8am this morning to have tires mounted on trailer wheels.i then dropped of tires and received a call approximately 45 minutes later to pick up tires. Great customer service and service will definitely be back. Keep up the good work.
I couldn't be happier with the service I received from the Lino Lakes Discount tire. They called me 3 days earlier than my scheduled appointment to tell me my tires were in for my Silverado and they could get me in the same day. They had me in and out in under an hour. Everyone is super friendly and helpful there. I'll definitely be back!
I arrived a little before my scheduled appointment, I was greeted by a pleasant and professional employee. He took the information needed and was on my within half hour. Great work ethics shown here!!!
5/5 experience, the assistant manager helped me with an air leak with one of my tires, even double checked it and refilled all the tires' PSI before I left all free of charge. Will definitely be back
